Quick zoom from the race track, straight to Lightning McQeen in his 'garage'. Light falls on Lightning McQueen as we zoom in. Lightning McQueen is stunned.

Lightning McQueen: Jon?

Cuts to Kori Turbowitz the Newsreader car broadcasting the latest news on a large flat screen TV.

Kori Turbowitz: Breaking news. A boarder has been broken as a human enters our lives! It believes it can help us open up to the rest of its kind. But there one problem, its lover is one of US AND IS MISSING!!!

Cuts to Lightning McQueen with his friends at Radiator Springs.

Lightning McQueen: His name is Jon, and I'm gonna find out where he is!

Mater: How are gonna do that?

Lightning McQueen: I don't know, but it means talking with the girl.

His friends gasp.

Luigi: O My God! That's crazy! You're going to talk to a human?! Do you know how suicidal that is!

Lightning McQueen: Well, one car has done it, why not?

Sally drives over.

Sally: Well, I wish you luck. (Faces Mater) Mater go with him.

Mater: Sure thing Sally.

Voice Over of trailer takes over as the words in big white letters appear on black screen.

Voice Over: Lightning McQueen is back!

Flashes to Lightning McQueen, ready for action.

Lightning McQueen: Let's go Mater!

Cuts back to words and Voice Over.

Voice Over: But this time, he has driven too far!

Flashes to Mater driving slowly looking cautious. Location: A street in a quiet town.

Mater: Wow, this is one weird town.

Cuts back to words.

Voice Over: And finds an all new adventure, with an object they never thought to ever be friends with.

Cuts to a close up of a girl, slowly turn towards the camera.

Eric (a neighbouring car): Rani - she's the best thing that happened to us.

Cuts to Suzy (another neightbouring car) and Eric with Lightning McQueen and Mater.

Suzy: Yes, if only there was more of her.

Eric: But since Jon left, she's never losing her spark.

Cuts to Rani, meeting Lightning McQueen and Mater for the first time. Location: Near her house.

Rani: Who are you guys? How did you find me? I thought this town was unheard of!

Mater: Er... McQueen here, saw a vision and the news just spread. I'm Mater by the way.

Cuts back to words.

Voice Over: Then just when they knew everything...

Cuts back to Mater and Lightning McQueen, meeting Rani,

Mater: We're sorry about your loss.

Rani: Jon isn't dead!

Mater and Lightning McQueen exchange looks.
Then while flipping scenes of action packed drama, Voice Over continues.

Voice Over: Along with new friends, join Lightning McQueen, Mater and Rani as they join forces to find Jon and together they thrive to bring harmony between two worlds!

Cuts to Andy (a car friend) zooming on the road.

Andy (to Rani): Bring it on, sister!

Cuts back to words.

Voice Over: But there's one problem...

Cuts to Xeena (family car), parked by the garage of Rani's family home, talking to Rani.

Xeena: Your family's gonna be worried. Think about them for once!

Rani: Xeena, that's what I've been doing for the past 1year and 9months! That's why, I didn't go. Plus, there was no one to help me!

Voice Over: Then Rani's secret weapon is discovered!

Cuts to Lightning McQueen (intrigued by when he sees Rani's supernatural ability, which is out of screen but a glow can be seen): Awesome!

Cuts to Suzy having a quiet talk with Rani.

Suzy: Rani, baby, you are the only human, we can't call 'it'.

Rani (Smiles with appreciation): And vice versa, Suzy.

Voice Over: And McQueen gets a new look.

Cuts to Mater and Rani who looks surprised as they see Lightning McQueen who is off screen.

Mater: Wow, McQueen you look good!

Cuts to the title which animates on to the screen.
